Greg Ramsey

Greg is an alumni of the original Royal Cavaliers Youth Band. He was an euphonious player marching with Royal Cavaliers from late 1969 until he aged out after the 1976 season. After returning home from the 1976 Summer tour he enlisted in the Navy and served until he retired in January 1999 as a Lieutenant. After he left active duty, Greg was employed as a civilian with the Navy in Port Hueneme, CA and retired in December 2019 as the Navy's Trackage Subject Matter Expert responsible for all of the Navy's Railroad and Crane tracks around the world.

Greg and his wife Yvonne were very active with their children in their schools music programs, particularly at Oxnard High School. As their children progressed, they continued to support their other groups including the Mystikal, VK and the Blue Devils Drum and Bugle Corps. Greg was a founder of the Royal Cavaliers Performing Arts and served as its President until 2022 and continues to operate and maintain the equipment truck and much of the groups equipment. Greg is the president and owner of Roundhouse Track Services, LLC which provides track inspector training to the Navy and Navy contractors and provides railroad track inspection services.
