
Brian Ernster has many years of experience marching with Cherry Creek High School(CO), the University of Colorado’s Golden Buffalo Marching Band, the Cal Band in Berkeley, CA, Denver’s Blue Knights Drum & Bugle Corps, the Blue Devils Drum & Bugle Corps from Concord, CA, and has recently transferred to the 204th Army Band in Vancouver, WA from the 101st Army Band of the Colorado National Guard. He is a former marching band assistant at Highlands Ranch HS(CO), Cherry Creek HS(CO) and Arapahoe HS(CO) and has been a General Effect and Visual judge in Band and Winter Guard competitions in Texas and Colorado. Brian is still in the Army Reserves with over 25 years of service with a couple of overseas tours. Brian tries to stay current on his horn taking on the Bass Trombone part with the Lone Tree Symphony Orchestra as well playing in various other ensembles in his church while also trying to learn Trumpet. He resides in RIdgefield, WA with his wife, Janice, and two sons, ages 12 and 14 (both budding Brass, Piano and Rugby players).
